Who We Are

Our association is comprised of graduate students in the P&A department at Mizzou. Our purpose is to promote the values and services our members find important.
These include mental health services, academic development, social events, outreach, cultural enrichment, and equity in the workplace.

Grad Spotlights

Dylan Weaver, the chair of educational communications and Spring 2022 Hammond Award for excellent undergraduate teaching recipient, is more than deserving of being highlighted for his remarkable contributions to PAGSA and his community. Just a few of these things include: Organizing meetings with TAs to collect ideas for the Fall 2023 TA training, providing consistent & constructive help to new PAGSA initiatives, volunteering in local community events, and going out of his way to help other graduate students without anything in return.
We are lucky to have you. Thank you for all you do!

PhysAssist is a service modeled after MIT's mental health program to help ease stress and connect graduate students with peers or professors who are trained with resources to help. We are here to help with difficult conversations, stress with exams/classes, culture confusion/shock, or general venting.
Matches and preferences are made with this survey. All our members are resource trained through the Mizzou Counseling Center and all communication is legally confidential.
